Public Notice: Patriot Day Observance – September 11, 2025

VFW Post 6073 invites the public to join us in a solemn observance of Patriot Day on Thursday, September 11, 2025, honoring the lives lost and reaffirming our unity as a nation. This brief but meaningful gathering will include a moment of silence, a reading of the 9/11 timeline, and the names of Alabamians who perished that day. Please join us as we gather not only to remember, but to stand united in service, sacrifice, and community.

•           8:33 AM – Lowering of the Flag to Half-Staff

•           8:36 AM – Moment of Silence

•           8:38 AM – Prayer of Remembrance and Resolve

•           8:42 AM – Reading of the 9/11 Timeline

•           8:45 AM – Reading of Names: Alabamians Lost on 9/11

•           8:55 AM – Closing Reflection

•           9:00 AM – Conclusion and Dismissal
